Fangirling Farscape DVDs

Fangirling update

When I’m in a quandary about life, I pull out Firefly, Farscape or Stargate SG-1 DVDs and start at the beginning. Recently, I opted for Farscape.

For me, Farscape is mesmerizing. And Like Firefly, it seems tight and complete. No disrespect to my all time favorite – Stargate SG-1 – and my love for those characters. All of them! I took that leap of faith when RDA- Richard Dean Anderson (Jack O’Neill) left and found I loved the addition of Mitchell (Ben Browder) and Vala (Claudia Black), though I enjoy RDA’s intermittent and hysterical drop ins.

I write Stargate SG-1 fanfiction – romantic comedy mostly and usually, Daniel/Vala. I don’t write Firefly or Farscape because I find that those have not left me floating aimlessly and wanting.

As many times as I have watched the DVDs from any of the aforementioned, I always enjoy them, and find little things I had forgotten.

Browder, as John Crichton, is often laugh out loud hysterical. All those little looks, twitches and grins are endearing. And when he’s serious he can break your heart.

Pull out your favorite Farscape DVDs, dust them off and watch Browder do his magic! And don’t forget Claudia Black, as Aeryn Sun…she’s so adorable being the tough Peacekeeper.

What!? You don’t have the DVDs? You must get them, Farscape, Firefly and Stargate SG-1! You won’t be sorry. A good source for DVDs: www.deepdiscount.com

eBay often has cheap odds and ends of DVDs if you need to go the slow route.

Haha, I agree. Farscape is wonderful, but I must say, I am on a bit of a Firefly kick right now. I love how each of these shows seems to call to me at different times, and yet I can never pass up an opportunity to watch any that come my way.

Crap it looks like I will have to Netflix the series. Everyone is telling me that I need to see it… I have never caved to peer pressure but I might crack at this point. Thanks god it wasn’t drugs/alcohol!!! 😀
