Supergate Superstars

There are certain things you can always expect to get out of a Dragon*Con guest panel. You’ll always hear great stories and get to ask some questions. Yet sometimes the unexpected can happen and a fantasic panel can turn into something absolutely steller! Put Amanda Tapping, Christopher Heyerdahl, and David Nykl in a big ballroom with several hundred of their Stargate fans, and the unpredictable is garanteed! Never mind that it was the most difficult panel I have ever tried to film, it was AWESOME!

I want to send a special thank you to the Dragon*Con Staff in working crowd control that day. The line to get in was HUGE and my seat was going to be about two thirds of the way back with no chance at an aisle seat. This was going to be a problem because I didn’t want to wreck things for fans behind me by blocking their veiw with my camera and tripod. Instead I asked if I could film from the wall and I was given the OK. Thank goodness, because if I hadn’t been allowed to stand, David and Chris would have been behind me and completely out of camera range the entire time. So thank you staff, You Rock!
