This year it feels like comics were actually part of the main focus of San Diego Comic Con. Amidst the popularity of Glee, Twilight, and a multitude of other pop culture phenoms represented, stood the heart of the convention…comics. Fans are reeling and squealing over the info and sneak peeks of Captain America 2: The Winter Soldier, Iron Man 3, Man of Steel, Thor 2, and of course….Deadpool: The Game.
That’s right folks! Deadpool, everyone’s favorite fourth wall breaking anti-hero known as “the merc with a mouth,” will finally get his own game! About time right? During the Marvel panel it was announced that game developer High Moon (who unveiled new multiplayer gameplay for Transformers: Fall of Cybertron at SDCC) will be bringing life to the game via Epic Game’s Unreal Engine 3 technology. Game publisher Activision is working to develop an original storyline adventure. Given their previous success with comic book-based games, fans are going to be in for one awesome ride.
Enough with the blathering. You know you want to see the trailer.
