In free play, I absolutely recommend going to the blacksmith in Bree and having him make the mithril disco ball phial of Galadriel. I’m not going to give it away, but after you have it, select it and then go stand by another character. It’s awesome! There is also an amazing secret level behind a waterfall in Rivendell (and I’m sure more that we haven’t found).

*GASP* The story is witten by Sally Malcolm!! Not only has she written four Stargate audio novels for Big Finish, but she wrote two of my favorite Fandemonium novels, A Matter of Honor and The Cost of Honor. Her work is fantastic, detailed, and has great continuity with the series. Knowing that she developed this story gives me a world of confidence that it’s going to be a good plot!

Great article! I do enjoy this show I watch it online and am grateful that is it readily available. (there is nothing I watch live) And 100% agree that I worry Moriarty will become the ‘Red John’ of this series. The Beckett’s mother. Etc. Etc. I really hope not. I watch very little TV but enjoy this series and would hate to get bored with the same old same old.. I’m fond of both the actors and the characters of Sherlock and Watson. Lu is really rocking her Watson and I think it works much better than I anticipated. I’m not a fan of UST, it is disturbingly overused, overrated and overdone not to mention unrealistic and unnatural. So I’m not looking forward to the possibility they might toss that in. Men and women can work together, very closely, and not end up madly in lust. I love a good ‘ship’ and a good writer can write entertaining episodes without having the ‘will they or won’t they’ go on for years. It’s nice to not be distracted by false attraction between the main characters. So for right now, I would give it a strong three wagons and hope for the best. (and I love Aidan Quinn! Bonus!)

Good point Cleo, thank you! Hopefully a legal route will be provided for us US fans so we can watch and support CTV. I don’t approve of torrents and such, they can really hurt a franchise.

Hulu is partly owned by NBC Universal (with partners ABC and FOX), so they won’t lose out COMPLETELY on ad revenue, but if this American could find a (legal) way to get the show directly from CTV, I’d be happy to cut NBC off entirely.
